You can order online 24 hours a day through our Secure Server by clicking Add to basket on any product or accessory. Our online ordering system is quick, easy and 100% secure.

Delivery

Our standard delivery time is 2-3 working days from the time we process your order (subject to stock availability). We will notify you if there are any delays in the dispatch of your goods either by phone or e-mail. All deliveries are sent by recorded delivery, and will require an authorised signature.

These delivery details apply to UK mainland only. Orders to the Republic of Ireland and outlying Islands may incur a surcharge, please call our customer service team on 0870 460 4232 for more details before ordering.

Refunds & Returns

We will provide a full refund (excluding delivery charges) if the product you have selected is found to be unsuitable within 7 working days following delivery, providing the product is returned in it's original box, in 'as new' and unmarked condition complete with all packaging, accessories and bundled software. Software supplied that does not show any product key externally may be returned but must be un-opened and unregistered. Any Microsoft software like MS Windows XP and other Office Suite packages that show a product key externally and that is required to be registered with Microsoft to allow it to function fully is not returnable or refundable.

Warranty

All new goods supplied by itfactory.co.uk are warranted free from defects for 12 months from the date of supply (unless otherwise stated). Used laptops supplied by itfactory.co.uk are warranted free from defects for 3 months (30 days on battery) from the date of supply (unless otherwise stated). Used batteries supplied by itfactory.co.uk are warranted to hold charge for 30 minutes while displaying a screensaver.

This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by itfactory.co.uk, failure to follow itfactory.co.uk instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without itfactory.co.uk approval.

If the goods supplied to you are damaged on delivery, you should notify us in writing via the contact form or fax within 14 days.

If the goods supplied to you develop a defect while under warranty or you have any other complaint about the goods, you should notify itfactory.co.uk in writing via the contact form or fax, as soon as possible, but in any event within 14 days of the date you discovered or ought to have discovered the damage, defect or complaint.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Technical Support

I have loaded new software/hardware and there appears to be a problem.

If after following the manufacturers instructions you still encounter difficulties then we would suggest uninstalling the software, close down the laptop and start over again. If you are still experiencing problems it may be that there is an incompatibility problem between the laptop and software/hardware.

Please either contact the supplier of the software/hardware directly for advice, there should be a help line number displayed with your product or on their website, or contact our support team on 0870 460 4276 (9:00am – 5:30pm).

My laptop will not start up correctly.

If you are running your laptop on AC power (when it is plugged into the wall socket) check to make sure the AC connection is good. To do so, plug in another appliance that you know works & flip the wall switch on and off. If you are running the system on DC (battery power), try using AC. Connect the AC adapter and plug in the laptop computer. If it still refuses to boot, please contact our support team on 0870 460 4276 (9:00am - 5:30pm) for advice.

How can I improve the running time of my battery?

1. Fully charge the battery,
2. Power up the system,
3. Run the battery down while staying in the set-up screen until the unit completely shuts down,
4. Repeat this process at least 3 times to get better battery performance.
